Tales of distant forests

Tempests worn

Beach glass

Like jewels rare

In sandy array

Mosaics born

From forsaken things

Transmuted

By the sea

Into pulchritude

Coral beds

Craggy splendor

Rich, mysterious

Riptide’s unseen grasp

Liquid trap set

Like a siren’s clasp

Waves ripe with secrets

Only the currents

Are wont

To share

Bay breezes

Skim the surface

Infusing the air

With salt

Spray

Life

Above

In lofty circles
